Members and Friends:

As the Director of the South Carolina Chapter of the German-American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S. (GACC) I am pleased to announce that a Local Advisory Board has been appointed for the Columbia, South Carolina Area. 

Sam Moses, an Attorney with Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP, in Columbia, South Carolina will be heading up the Local Advisory Board and will be working with me as Co-Director handling the Columbia Area. Both of us will be working with the local advisory board members to increase and grow our membership and activities in the Columbia Area.

In addition to Sam Moses, the following individuals have been appointed to the Local Advisory Board for Columbia:

• Tom Pietras, CPA, Bauknight, Pietras and Stormer, LLP
• Ed Kluiters, Attorney, Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, PA

  The Advisory Board plans to coordinate and organize two to three events per year and to increase the awareness of the German-American business community in the Columbia area.  We also plan to organize some strategic relationships with various business groups in Germany to increase our Trans-Atlantic cooperation.  If you have any suggestions for topics or venues please let us know.  You can reach us at scvents(at)gaccsouth.com
