Establishing a Company
In contrast to Germany, incorporating a business in the US is less bureaucratic and even possible via internet. However, it is our experience that foreign companies should not choose this method due to the important deadlines and specific requirements which must be met.
Before choosing the legal form of a company, it is highly recommended to consult a lawyer and/or accountant, who is/are familiar with both the German and the American legal systems.
As the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern United States, we have access to a close network of German speaking, international lawyers and accountants whose contact information we would gladly share with you. By request we can assist you with the incorporation of your business. In turn, your presence in the US would not be required.
US business contacts for incorporation are offered by the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern United States as part of our Business Representation.
If you have questions or would like additional information please contact our DEinternational team
