Join us for a forum at the GSP International Airport to learn about its importance in logistics for the area.

The GSP International Airport serves the dynamic Greenville-Spartanburg region of Upstate South Carolina and is key in airfreight logistics for the region. The GACC South, SC Council on Competitiveness, BVL (Bundesvereinigung Logistik), and Senator International invite you to an afternoon forum to learn about important topics and examples of airfreight logistics for the Upstate. We have put together an interesting agenda of speakers from the field, finishing off with a demonstration of a Senator cargo airplane being unloaded right at the airport.

About the organizations:

The SC Council on Competitiveness is a nonpartisan, business-led non-profit organization committed to advancing the long-term economic competitiveness of the state, industries, and citizens. The SC Council on Competitiveness has several established industry clusters in fields such as Logistics, Aerospace, and more.

The Federal Logistics Association (BVL) is an open network of people who are actively engaged in an efficient co-operation in the globalized economy. Its core objective is to convey the importance of supply chain management and logistics - as well as to promote their application and development.

SENATOR INTERNATIONAL provides comprehensive international freight, shipping, logistics, warehousing and distribution services to customers located throughout the world. Since November 5th, 2016, SENATOR INTERNATIONAL operates its own (controlled) transatlantic B747F-400 freighter from Frankfurt-Hahn (HHN) to Greenville-Spartanburg (GSP) three times a week.

4:40pm - 5:00pm Presentation by Senator International followed by Q&A with Alfred Haas, Manager Material Control & Supply Assurance, BMW Manufacturing

5:00pm-5:30pm Networking Break

5:30pm - 6:30pm Tour of Senator International facilities at GSP & viewing of B747F-400 being unloaded
