The German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S. invites their members to join them on October 3, 2009, at the exclusive St. Regis, Atlanta’s premier hotel address, for their 14th Annual Gala. Besides being the date of this year’s Gala, October 3rd bears a considerable historical significance in Germany:  20 years after the Fall of the Berlin Wall we are celebrating the German Unification Day.

Following dinner, a live band, dancing and a Silent Auction fill out the program. During the Silent Auction the Gala attendees will have the chance to bid on more than 100 items donated by the GACC South’s extraordinary network of charitable members and associate companies. The St. Regis officially opened its doors on April 14, 2009.  On June 23, the GACC South hosted a charity concert at the hotel, which was intended as a kick-off event for the Gala in October and a long, mutually beneficial cooperation between the St. Regis and the GACC South.
