8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to take place in Atlanta

The German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern US, Inc. will hold its 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, August 13, to benefit the German School of Atlanta.

Join the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern US, Inc. (GACC South) on Friday, August 13 at the Alpharetta Athletic Club for the 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, to benefit the German School of Atlanta. The German School of Atlanta is an accredited Saturday morning school offering a unique educational experience in a genuine German environment with native speaking teachers in small classes. German is offered for native speakers and as a foreign language from the pre-kindergarten through the adult level.

At last year’s Charity Golf Tournament, a wide range of participants, from novice to expert players, joined us for a great day of competitive golf. This year, registration and breakfast will begin at 8:00am with a shotgun start beginning at 9:30am. Lunch will be held at 2:00pm. The event fee is $160 for individual players and $600 for a team of four players and fees include lunch. There will also be a cash bar on site. Awards for best four person team, longest drive, closest to pin, straightest drive, two best net balls and two best gross balls will be given at lunch.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available as well. Companies can become the event’s exclusive lunch sponsor for $1,000, or can sponsor individual holes on the course for $200 each.
