Economic Outlook

Filip Blazheski, Senior Economist at BBVA Research will give an update on the global and U.S. economic developments and outlook, and a discussion on the future of U.S.-European trade.

The event will also give you an opportunity to network with other members of the German and international business communities of the greater Houston area. A light lunch will be served.





Filip Blazheski joined BBVA Research in July 2015. He conducts research on trends in banking and real estate and supports the group’s work in the area of macroeconomics. Prior to joining BBVA Research, he worked for Nathan Associates Inc., an economics consulting firm based in Washington, DC, managing or contributing to consulting projects in Southeast Europe, North Africa and Central America. Before that, he worked for the Government of Macedonia and the consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton. He earned a master’s degree in management from the University of Cambridge, UK and a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from the Sts. Cyril and Methodius University, Macedonia. As part of his continuing education, he has completed courses at Penn State University, New York University and HEC Paris.
