Let's celebrate German Unity and transatlantic friendship!

The Dallas Goethe Center in collaboration with the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern United States is celebrating the anniversary of German Reunification.

German reunification, achieved in 1990, was made possible through the strong support of the United States. The German-American friendship is very much alive today. It serves as the foundation of the transatlantic relationship, a strong partnership.

The celebration's goals are to commemorate Unity Day with friends and family, the German-American community, and to provide for a day of reflection on the transatlantic friendship to create a greater understanding of cultural, societal and political differences between the two nations.

New Consul General of Germany in Houston, Thomas H. Meister will be in attendance.

There will be food trucks, German beer, family and children's activities, and more!
