Innovations in Production Technology: Machine Tools from Germany

VDW Symposium & B2B Meetings 

The German Machine Tool Builders’ Association (VDW), in cooperation with the GACC South, is organizing a technical Symposium and B2B meetings in Charlotte, NC on Thursday, December 6, 2018. This high-profile event will feature 22 leading German machine tool manufacturers that will present on selected innovations and topics affecting the automotive, aerospace, medical, electronics, tool and mold-making, and oil and gas industries.

During these expert presentations, the diversity, technological competence and technology solutions of the German machine tool industry will be featured as well as the most recent developments in the target industries.

About the German Machine Tool Builders’ Association (VDW)

The German Machine Tool Builders’ Association (VDW) based in Frankfurt/Main has represented the interests of the German machine tool industry for more than 125 years. Together with the trade association for machine tools and manufacturing systems affiliated with the VDMA, it has a voluntary membership of approximate 280 firms which account for about 90 percent of the total turnover in the industry. The VDW represents the interests of its members both within Germany and throughout the world. Since 2004, the VDW has also been organizing technology symposia in developing markets.
