About our German Delegates

The Transatlantic Optics and Photonics Conference event is part of a week-long business delegation from Germany funded by the Market Entry Program of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK). The initiative aims to promote the support for German technologies in foreign markets by connecting them to local stakeholders, consultants, and business partners.

Delegates:

ficonTEC Service GmbH

ficonTEC provides device micro-assembly and testing solutions for the photonics industry which are realized as cutting-edge, high-precision production systems utilizing advanced automation approaches, regardless of the device material and target application. The modular system architecture is scalable, so that exploratory, proof-of-process development and high-volume manufacturing requirements are addressable. Over 1000 installed systems are already serving integrated photonics applications in telecom and datacom sectors, for 5G infrastructure, in 3D sensing for smartphone, aerospace applications, in high-power diode laser assembly, and many others. ficonTEC is involved in current international initiatives that are designed to reduce time-to-market for integrated photonics technology all within the current transition to high-volume manufacturing processes.

ilis GmbH

ilis Gmbh develops, produces, and distributes software, measuring technology and automatic testing equipment for quality assurance in the glass and optics industry. Since 1998 ilis supplies customers in Europe and around the world. Many well-known industrial companies and research institutions have already decided to use their products and services. With the measuring and testing devices of the StrainScope® series, ilis GmbH primarily offers imaging polarimeter systems for the automatic and objective measurement of stress birefringence in glass and plastics.

Innolite GmbH

Innolite GmbH – Driving productivity in ultra-precision technology. Since 2008 Innolite produces polymer and metal optics and mold inserts for optical components. Moreover, Innolite develops and produces their own ultra-precision machine tools. In addition to diamond turning, Innolite specializes in various fields, such as direct cutting of steel and alignment turning of lenses.

J&M Analytik AG

J&M is an award-winning pioneer in the field of fiber-optic solutions using UV/VIS, NIR and Raman spectroscopy – for lab and OEM applications. J&M was founded in 1987 and is a member of the PHARMA TEST GROUP since 2016. J&M offers innovative and reliable solutions and analytical systems made in Germany – for laboratory and OEM applications. The J&M TIDAS® spectrometers are fiber-optic diode-array spectrometer systems and instruments for lab and process applications. They are based on UV/VIS, NIR, Raman and LIF technology. The instruments are run by the internally developed TIDASDAQ3 software for instrument control, data visualization and evaluation. Additionally, J&M offers a broad selection of accessories and process interfaces, both contact and non-contact. This flexibility is due to the use of fiber-optics in all of the J&M instruments. Innovative products are constantly developed by working closely with both customers and partners. New developments in the area of networked, miniaturized fiber-optic probes based on LED technology will further advance the integration of spectroscopic analytics in the mass market.

Phaseform GmbH

Phaseform designs and manufactures refractive, ultra-miniaturized, high-fidelity adaptive optics (AO) components. Phaseform aims to bring easy-to-use and easy-to-integrate products to a wide range of imaging and beam shaping applications in Life Science & Microscopy, Vision Science and Ophthalmology, Material Science & Semiconductors, Optical Inspection, Beam Shaping, 3D-Micro and Nano Printing and AR/VR. Phaseform is a startup company established in 2020, spun-out of the Department of Microsystems from the University of Freiburg in Southwestern Germany.

Q.ANT GmbH

Q.ANT is a high-tech startup driving quantum technology, founded in 2018. Q.ANT’s vision is to improve the quality of how machines analyze their environment, how humans process information and think. To reach this vision, Q.ANT develops quantum sensors and quantum computing chips based on its Quantum Photonic Framework. Focusing on the product lines of Photonic Computing, Particle Metrology, Atomic Gyroscopes and Magnetic Sensing, the company engages with a broad array of industries and applications ranging all the way from medical technology and autonomous vehicles to aerospace, machinery, and the process industry. Q.ANT employs more than 60 people at its site in Stuttgart/Southern Germany.
