About the Program
The conference is part of a virtual delegation of 12 German companies in the lightweighting sectors that is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and organized by the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S., Inc. (GACC South) in cooperation with the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest (GACC Midwest).
The BMWi Foreign Market Entry Programme aims to support German SMEs to develop or expand existing business and business relations in the U.S. and to get exposure in the U.S. market. In advance of the virtual trip, the German participants receive specific information on the lightweighting industry and market situation as well as the legal and tax framework. In two virtual, subject-specific presentation events moderated by the hosts, the German delegation participants will present their products, services, and potential areas of collaboration. Our German delegation participants are further interested in scheduling individual appointments with US-based companies to discuss synergies and potential business partnerships.
