Train the Trainer Training – AdA International US
1170 Howell Mill Road , Suite 300
Atlanta, GA 30318
First-class apprenticeships begin with professionally trained mentors. Apprentice trainers not only have to know how to perform a skill but also how to inspire their apprentice to learn that skill, too. In many ways, trainers offer their apprentices the invaluable gift of a life-long career.
The German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S. is offering “Train the Mentor” training to those interested in AdA International Trainer certification. The AdA certificate is the highest certificate for apprenticeship mentors, and it is accredited by the German Foreign Chambers of Commerce (AHKs) and the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHKs). Currently, 18 AHKs in Europe, America, and Asia are already certifying mentors in companies and colleges.
The purpose of this event is to provide the highest level of training for company and academic trainers, so that they have all the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to ensure their organizations are training young professionals successfully, building a highly skilled and motivated workforce for the future, and following internationally recognized standards.
The content of “Train the Mentor” is based on real-life working conditions. It encompasses four fields of activity:
- Reviewing training requirements and planning the training
- Preparing the training and participating in the hiring of apprentices
- Performing the training
- Concluding the training
You will not receive the AdA certification for attending this event. To obtain the certification you must take a written and practical exam after the training course.
