Simeon Wallis

CFA Chief Investment Officer & Director of Family Office | Aprio Wealth Management

Simeon brings two decades of professional investing experience in publicly traded and privately held companies, as well as senior-level operating and strategy consulting experiences.
As Aprio’s Investment Officer, Simeon sets Wealth Management’s investment strategy while overseeing research, trading, and investment operations. Simeon is also a director in Aprio’s Family Office Service, focusing on coordinating alternative and public market investments into a consistent strategy to minimize client risk. Simeon provides economic commentary to the firm’s partners, clients, and media. Simeon earned his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his undergraduate degree from Duke University. He is a CFA® charterholder.

Kristin Maeckel

German Tax Leader, Partner | Aprio Wealth Management

Kristin is a partner in Aprio’s Tax practice focusing on consulting and U.S. tax compliance for multi-national corporations in the manufacturing, distribution and services industries, as well as assisting clients in implementing the requirements of ASC. She specializes in working with foreign companies that have subsidiaries in the U.S., including many startup firms, to provide tax and accounting solutions. She also helps individuals with their U.S. tax matters after moving to the U.S. Most of clients are from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Prior to joining Aprio, Kristin was with Deloitte in Atlanta for several years working with public companies on their tax provisions as well as their U.S. tax compliance. Kristin is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Chairman of the Advisory Board to the German Language Department at Emory University.
