Dust off your cleats and bring your ‘Leidenschaft im Bein’ for our first GACC South United Netzwerk Cup! Companies can organize their own teams of up to 10 players to participate in our 6v6 tournament. Teams will be knocked out one-by-one until the winning team is crowned champion – but everyone’s a winner at the watch party afterwards! Stick around for a live viewing just down the road at Halfway Crooks Brewery as Germany takes on Switzerland in the 2024 EURO Championship. Cold beer and a meal will be provided for all. During the watch party, tournament participants and viewers can vote for the tournaments’ MVP, best goal, and a few other surprise categories. You’ll have to be there in person to see the prizes we have in store! 

If you're not interested in organizing a team to participate in the soccer tournament, we have individual tickets for the watch party available. A wristband for unlimited drink ordering, along with one meal ticket are included in each ticket purchase, and parking at the venue is free. The watch party will begin at 3pm! 

Rules of the game: 

• Team participation: Companies organize their own team of up to 10 players for our 6v6 tournament (no goalies, all field players). After your company signs up on our website, we’ll reach out to you to collect players’ names and communicate additional rules. 
• Uniforms: Teams will be assigned a color, which they will all have to wear on the day of. We ask that you wear a pair of cleats if you have them, but no other equipment (i.e. shin guards) are required. As long as you wear the assigned color, uniforms are entirely up to you!
• Opponent matching will be shared in the days leading up to the tournament.
• Playing time: Games will be 20 minutes each, with a 4-minute halftime in between.
• Refreshments/Snacks will be provided, and restrooms are also available at the field.
• Score keeping: Teams will be awarded 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, and 0 points for a loss. In the case of a tie, the number of goals scored will reviewed to determine who moves on to the next round. 
• Watch Party: Germany is taking on Switzerland in the 2024 EURO Championship starting at 3pm EST. We'll stream the game in the Biergarten at Halfway Crooks Brewery, just a five minute drive from the soccer field! Entry to the Biergarten, unlimited beer, and one meal for all tournament participants is included in the team registration. 
• Winner Ceremony: Will take place at Halfway Crooks after the Germany game. 1st and 2nd place teams will receive medals, and we’ll have a few other prizes up for grabs as well.

• 12:00pm – Kick-off | First round games being played simultaneously
  • 12:08pm: halftime, swap sides
• 12:20pm: End of first game, short break before next games begin
• 12:30pm – 12: 50pm | Second round of games (new opponent matches)
• 12:50pm – 1:00pm | Break
• 1:00pm – 1:20pm | Third round of games (new opponent matches)
• 1:20 – 1:40pm | Break
• 1:40pm – 2:00pm | Semi Finals (top 4 teams play)

• 2:10pm – 2:30pm | Final (top 2 teams play)
• 2:35pm – 3:00pm | Drive to Halfway Crooks (roughly 5 mins by car)
• 3:00pm – 5:00pm | Watch Party, Germany vs. Switzerland
• 5:00pm | Winner Ceremony (1st & 2nd place teams receive medals, other winner categories to be announced)
