The German American Chamber of Commerce, South (GACC South), together with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) and the German Consulate General in Houston, invites you to an intimate and interactive roundtable exploring what Germany’s political developments mean for Europe, the United States, and the German-American business community.

We are honored to welcome Prof. Dr. Hans-Gert Pöttering, former President of the European Parliament and former Chairman of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. He will open the conversation with introductory remarks and share his perspective on Germany’s current political landscape and its broader implications for Europe and the transatlantic partnership.
Consul General Kai Hennig will bring a timely diplomatic perspective following his participation in the 2026 Botschafterkonferenz (BoKo) in Berlin, Germany’s annual gathering of ambassadors and senior diplomatic representatives from around the world.
