GACC South Launches LeadHERship - Women Shaping Global Business

Connecting Leaders Across Industries. Strengthening Leadership Across Business!  

Leadership is not defined by titles. It is defined by the willingness to step forward, share ideas, and help shape what comes next. Strong businesses grow when different perspectives come together to challenge assumptions and drive progress. 

At GACC South, our mission is to support companies as they grow their business, expand their networks, broaden their horizons, and develop their workforce.  

With this in mind, we are launching LeadHERship: Women Shaping Global Business, a new event series designed to connect professionals across industries and career stages and create space for meaningful exchange within our business community. 

A platform for leadership, connection, and new perspectives 

LeadHERship highlights the role of women in business while also strengthening leadership overall and helping companies tap into the full range of talent available to them.  

The series will bring together experts who share experiences, practical insights, and best practices from industries such as manufacturing, technology, finance, and international trade. Topics may include leadership development, mentorship, international career paths, financial strategies, innovation, and the evolving demands of leading in a global business environment. 

Topics may include leadership and mentorship, women in manufacturing, international careers, financial empowerment, workplace transitions, and opportunities for expat professionals. By bringing together a wide range of voices and experiences, LeadHERship will spark conversations that are relevant, practical, and forward-looking. 

Regional reach across the South 

LeadHERship will take place across GACC South’s regional network, with events planned in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Texas throughout the year, including one joint hybrid event. 

This approach allows GACC South to create local connection points while building a broader regional community around shared challenges, ideas, and opportunities. With rotating themes and diverse speakers, each event will bring its own focus while contributing to the larger vision of the series. 

The first event: Transition to Transformation 

The series launches in Atlanta this April with Transition to Transformation: Guide to Financial Confidence Through Life’s Biggest Changes & Across Borders, presented in partnership with BMO Bank and Altium Packaging. 

Designed for multinational women building their lives and careers in the United States, the event will focus on what financial confidence looks like when decisions, responsibilities, and long-term goals extend across borders and generations. The program will explore cross-border wealth strategies, financial literacy, and long-term planning, while creating space for practical insight and open conversation around major life and financial transitions. 

The evening will include a keynote by Jacqueline Crowley of BMO on navigating financial transitions, followed by a fireside chat featuring Kerstin Benden, who will share global perspectives and lived experience. Together, these conversations will offer attendees both practical guidance and a broader view of financial confidence in an international context.
