Transatlantic business leader brings proven board leadership, executive experience, and long-standing engagement with the German-American business community.

 

Atlanta, GA [May 7, 2026] – The German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S. (GACC South) announces that Crispin Teufel, CEO of National Seating & Mobility, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors.

 

Teufel previously served as Chairman of GACC South from 2021 to 2025, guiding the Chamber through a period of growth, strengthened regional engagement, and expanded collaboration across the German-American business community. His return to the chairmanship marks a new chapter of continuity, experience, and strategic leadership for GACC South.

 

A long-standing leader within the broader German-American business network, Teufel brings extensive executive experience, a strong commitment to transatlantic collaboration, and a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges shaping transatlantic business in the Southern United States.

 

“Crispin Teufel has been a trusted leader, strategic voice, and dedicated advocate for our German-American business community for many years,” 

said Matthias Hoffmann, President & CEO of GACC South.

Teufel is well known across the GACC network. In addition to his previous leadership at GACC South, he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the German American Chambers of Commerce, representing the organization on key issues affecting transatlantic trade and investment. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Transatlantic Business Initiative and is an active member of the GACC South Florida Chapter Leadership Committee.
