Charlotte, NC, September 1st, 2026 - perma USA announces the successful installation and activation of a new rooftop solar energy system at its Americas Headquarters in Charlotte, NC. This milestone reflects the company's continued commitment to sustainability.
The newly installed solar panel system is designed to power a substantial portion of the facility's operations, reducing reliance on conventional energy sources and lowering carbon emissions. Since its commissioning on March 3, 2026, the system generates more than 50 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity, including 18 MWh in May and 16 MWh in June. To date, the installation helps avoid approximately 22 tons of CO₂ emissions, marking an important sustainability milestone for the company and supporting a cleaner future for the Steel Creek community.

The solar energy system consists of 206 LONGi Solar panels and a 112.27 kW DC / 100 kW AC configuration designed to support the company's long-term energy management and sustainability goals. By harnessing solar power, perma USA strengthens its commitment to sustainability, reduces its environmental footprint and advances responsible operations.
The installation was completed in partnership with 8MSolar, combining industry expertise and innovative solar technology to deliver a reliable renewable energy solution that will support the Charlotte headquarters for years to come.
